Whites excluded from  ‘black only’ school trips.

Maybe studying the achievement of white Europeans, will motivate blacks to do better at school?.  But should whites be excluded from these trips?

Editors comment:

Everyone is supposed to be equal in Britain, but some are now more equal than others.
blacks are among the more equal ones, with the government throwing money at them,  whilst white children, are denied the same privileges.

The background of this article, is that blacks remain at the bottom of educational league tables, and perform the worst in schools. The thinking behind the scheme,  is that, if we give them privileges denied to white students, then maybe they will improve to the same standard as white pupils. This doesn't seem likely.   white Europeans, are inventors of technology, arts, mechanics in fact almost everything, black African nations, have yet to equal the achievement of white Europeans.
However,  I  personally think, that Africans can benefit from exposure to European culture,  and when repatriated, those blacks education in Britain will do much good in Africa.

It is though a bit galling if you are white, to be excluded from the school trip, on the basis of your race..

Article:

black pupils are going on and gaining first hand knowledge and excellent opportunities funded by tax-payers, attending school trips that exclude white students.

Many schools are now running what has been called the black Pupils Achievement Programme, which has been started in an effort to reduce under-achieving among black children.

Schools are asked to improve learning and behaviour among black pupils and to involve their parents more.

National Front have attacked this claiming it is in the interests of all pupils and if the Government are to preach equality, it can not be one-sided and exclude white-pupils, on the basis that they are well behaved and try and achieve more through education.

This kind of scheme in the past, has already come under attack by many groups which include the Young National Front.  Money is already put into these schemes – The Equality and Human Rights Commission chairman Trevor Phillips has become ‘involved in a row with educationalists  over his support for special lessons for struggling black pupils.
